• Cancer Awareness Club's first big event was the 'Pure Life' Bracelet sale. We sold 3,000 bracelets and made about $9,000 and donated money to a baby born with cancer for an emergency treatment, as well as freezing sperm for a 17 year old boy born with testicular cancer.
• For Valentines Day, the CAC has kids around Los Angeles bring in new teddy bears to donate to the kids in UCLA, Cedars Sinai, and Kaiser Permanente Hospitals. These teddy bears bring some comfort for the children staying at the hospitals.
• CAC holds assemblies educating teens about cancer and some of the ways we can be healthier, in addition to sharing with others the CAC's objectives.
• CAC has also donated money to 'Locks of Love' to help make wigs for people undergoing cancer treatments.
• The CAC also participates in Run/Walks supporting cancer.
